Kelsey Deforest

Kelsey DeForest is a seasoned philanthropy professional with extensive experience in fundraising and donor engagement. Currently serving as the Northeast Philanthropy Officer for Nurse-Family Partnership since March 2020, Kelsey has successfully led efforts to grow the fundraising base across the Northeast, resulting in significant annual growth and the launch of the organization's first planned giving campaign. Previously, Kelsey held positions at amfAR and the International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region, where responsibilities included developing major gifts programs and cultivating relationships with top donors, consistently generating millions in revenue. Kelsey began in the nonprofit sector at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and has a foundational background in political science, Spanish, and economics from Hollins University.
