Laurel Purghart is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and education. Currently serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Care Designer at Nurse Next Door Home Care Services since December 2011, Laurel has also contributed as a Clinical Nursing Instructor at Sprott Shaw College from January 2017 to March 2019. Previous roles include Charge Nurse (RPN) at Barrie Manor Retirement Home and RPN positions at Toronto Grace Health Centre, where Laurel focused on palliative and long-term care units, and St. Michael's Hospital, which included various specialties such as medical, emergency, labour & delivery, and psychiatry.
