Nurse on Call Ireland
Lizz Shields is a dedicated registered nurse with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently a registered nurse with Nurse on Call Ireland since January 2021, Lizz qualified as a Covid-19 vaccinator in March 2021 and is an active member of the HSE Vaccinator team. Previous roles include staff nurse positions at Daughters of Charity, Curam Altransis, and Resilience Care, where Lizz specialized in respiratory management and CPAP management. Additionally, Lizz has experience in supporting individuals through detox programs at Peter Mc Verry Trust and has worked in various capacities as an agency nurse. Lizz began nursing career in 2009 with Health and Social Services Guernsey. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Registered Intellectual Disability Nursing from Dublin City University and a Diploma in Care of the Special Child from Liberties College, Dublin.
