NURSE PRACTITIONER ALLIANCE OF ALABAMA
Dr. Whitnee Brown, DNP, CRNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Samford University and Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Alabama. In addition, Dr. Brown is actively involved as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama and has extensive clinical experience with Cigna Health Spring, Eastern Hospital Medicine, Southeastern Medical Oncology, and Alabama Oncology, focusing on wellness examinations and infusion nursing. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner from Troy University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Dr. Brown has previously held teaching roles at Capstone College of Nursing, illustrating a strong commitment to both clinical practice and nursing education.

NPAA’s organizational expertise ranges from governmental practice issues, workplace issues, continuing education, public relations, patient advocacy, and other matters related to the promotion of the advanced practice nurse’s profession.
