Tim Simpson

Tim Simpson is an experienced professional with a background in regulatory management and operational leadership within various healthcare councils. Currently serving as Hearings Manager at The Nursing and Midwifery Council since April 2021, Tim previously held the position of Case Examiner Operations Manager at the General Dental Council from January 2012 to December 2019, where significant operational changes were implemented and a new team structure was established. Tim has also contributed to the General Medical Council as an Adjudication Coordinator, responsible for overseeing complex hearings logistics, and has demonstrated expertise in project management, particularly with case management system enhancements and procedural development. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Lancaster University.
