Tom Moore has accumulated extensive work experience in various technology leadership roles. Starting in 1994, they held various IT service management positions at ICL for six years. Tom then joined Kingfisher in 2000 as a Service Manager before transitioning to British American Tobacco, where they held several global IT leadership roles. At BAT, they led the transformation of the company's relationship with retailers and developed IT strategic plans for marketing, operations, and corporate functions. In 2017, Tom became the Director of Information Management & Technology at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, where they oversaw a significant IT transformation. Tom then joined The Crown Estate in 2019 as Head of Technology, where they supported the organization's digital transformation. Most recently, they became the Chief Information Officer at The Nursing and Midwifery Council in 2021, leading the digital transformation efforts to better protect the public. Throughout their career, Tom has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive digital innovation, improve customer experience, and lead large teams.
Tom Moore has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin. Tom also holds additional certifications in Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) from LinkedIn and ITIL v2 Manager and Foundation Certificates.
