Katie Klepek

Katie Klepek has a long and varied work experience. Katie began their career in 2003 as an Account Executive at HSBC, and was promoted to Acquisition Specialist and then Foreclosure Support Specialist, where they were promoted to team leader within the first 6 months of hire. In 2008, they moved to Chigbu & Co., LLP, where they served as Business Development Manager and Office Manager/EA to Managing Partner. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at BOOM! Studios as Events and Community Manager, and then at Mashable as Events Coordinator. In 2011, they worked as a Freelance Events and Marketing Coordinator at Bolt Peters, and in 2012 they co-founded and served as COO of Reinventing Events. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at Encyclopaedia Britannica, and then as Director of Marketing at Nurture Life.

Katie Klepek attended Harper College from 2001 to 2003, earning an AA in English. Katie then attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2004 to 2004, studying English and Communications. Finally, they attended City College of San Francisco from 2008 to 2009, studying Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
