Brian von Kraus is the CEO and Founder of FireWatch Solutions, a company that provides tailored security support to organizations and individuals in high-risk environments. Brian directs a team of former Special Operations, military, and law enforcement professionals, offering security services to clients in government, private, and non-profit organizations. Brian also served as the Safety and Security Manager for Counterpart International, assessing security practices in high-risk offices. Additionally, they have held roles as the Security Director for Nuru International, where they developed and implemented security strategies, and as an Operations Officer for the 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion in the United States Marine Corps, where they coordinated special operations tasks and supported operations in Afghanistan. Brian brings extensive experience and expertise in security management and operations to their work.

Brian von Kraus, CSyP, CPP, MSyl has an extensive education history spanning multiple fields. Brian earned their Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Boston College, graduating in the year 2000. Brian also attended the UC Berkeley School of Information from 2020 to 2022, where they pursued a Master's degree in Information and Cybersecurity with a focus on Computer and Information Systems Security. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management between 2015 and 2017, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their formal education, Brian has also completed various certifications and training programs. Brian holds the Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) designation from the Register of Chartered Security Professionals and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International. Brian has obtained certifications in Cyber Leader, Essentials of Executive Protection, Security Risk Management (both at the regional and country levels), FCRA Basic, Essentials of ESRM, and Certified Consultant, among others. Brian has also completed workshops and training programs focused on topics such as Kidnap Incident Management, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Corporate Risk and Crisis Management, and Safety, Health, and Security for the Mobile Worker.
