Benjamin Black

Benjamin Black is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Nusano, specializing in the design and production of radio isotopes with a focus on target stations, beginning in July 2024. Previously, Benjamin served as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at PerkinElmer, Inc. from April 2016 to April 2024, where responsibilities included researching and developing environmental sampling equipment and coordinating with vendors. Early in the career, Benjamin held positions as a Mechanical Engineer and Supervisor at UPS, managing electronic scanning systems, and worked as a Mechanical Reliability Engineer at Rio Tinto - Kennecott Utah Copper, focusing on maintenance and project management. Additionally, Benjamin briefly worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Chromalox Ogden in 2024. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Salt Lake Community College.
