Doug Bowman

Doug Bowman is an experienced Operations Engineer at NuScale Power since June 2014. Previous roles include Licensed Operator Requalification Supervisor at DC Cook Nuclear Plant from May 2009 to June 2014, and Shift Manager at American Electric Power from July 2005 to June 2006, where responsibilities included overseeing day-to-day operations. Doug also served as Unit Supervisor at DC Cook Nuclear Plant from April 1999 to March 2005, managing both Licensed and Non-Licensed Operators. Earlier in their career, Doug worked as an Engineer in System Engineering at Commonwealth Edison from June 1990 to April 1999. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, obtained in 1990.
