Kristopher Cummings is a seasoned professional in the nuclear engineering field with a robust background in licensing and project management. Currently serving as a Licensing Engineer V at NuScale Power since March 2020, Kristopher previously held roles such as Principal Nuclear Engineer at Curtiss-Wright Corporation and Senior Project Manager for Used Fuel at the Nuclear Energy Institute. With extensive experience in spent fuel management, regulatory frameworks, and safety protocols, Kristopher has contributed to notable projects and industry groups, including the San Onofre Generating Station Expert Team and initiatives related to Accident Tolerant Fuel. Educationally, Kristopher holds a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Washington.
