Robert Aldridge

Robert Aldridge is an accomplished software developer and engineer with extensive experience in simulator model development and thermal-hydraulic systems. Currently serving as Software Developer 4 at NuScale Power since January 2018, Robert has successfully developed and maintained simulator models for operator license training and implemented an automated testing framework that significantly reduces manual testing efforts. Prior to this role, Robert worked as a Thermal Hydraulic Systems Engineer at GSE Systems, where responsibilities included managing a simulator upgrade project and enhancing model development processes. Robert's academic background includes a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Whitworth University. Additionally, Robert has experience in technical support and research in university settings, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set in both theoretical and practical applications of engineering and physics.
