Steven Blomgren

Steven Blomgren is an experienced professional in the nuclear engineering and software development fields, currently serving as a Thermal-Hydraulic Software Developer at NuScale Power since February 2009. In this role, Steven is responsible for writing and maintaining code used in safety analysis and design calculations, adhering to ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance standards and various regulatory guidelines. Prior to this position, Steven worked at GE Energy as a Controls Engineer and at Nikon Precision Inc. as a Field Service Engineer, optimizing and maintaining lithography equipment for Intel. Steven also served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician on the USS Alabama (SSBN 731). Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, completed between 2003 and 2007.
