Amit Sharma serves as the Head of Systems Engineering - Enterprise and Head of Customer Advocacy at Nutanix since June 2022. Previously, Amit held the position of Business Development Director for OEM Partners/ISVs APJ in Storage and Data Management Solutions at Dell EMC from January 2017 to June 2022. Responsibilities included engaging with customers and partners to develop scalable data storage solutions. As Senior Manager of Systems Engineering for ASEAN, Amit successfully integrated teams post-merger and managed a team of 11 specialists focused on enterprise storage solutions. Earlier experience at EMC from 2004 to 2016 involved leading presales for All-Flash Storage solutions and Unified Storage, training teams, and collaborating closely with engineering to define product requirements. Amit holds an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Science from Kurukshetra University, achieved between 1997 and 2001.
