Hernando Rincon

Hernando Rincon is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in systems engineering, sales engineering, and business development across various organizations. Currently serving as an Advisory Systems Engineer at Nutanix since May 2019, Hernando has progressed through roles including Sr. Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer. Prior to Nutanix, Hernando worked at Riverbed Technology as a Sales Engineer, focusing on the Andean Region, where responsibilities included developing pre-sales activities and technical sales support. Hernando’s experience also includes a role as a Business Development Executive at IBM, where strategic partnerships were identified across multiple Latin American countries. Additionally, Hernando held positions at DESCA as a Presales Consultant, responsible for designing specialized security solutions and providing technical support. Hernando has also contributed to academia as a professor, teaching network infrastructure basics. Hernando holds an Electronic Engineering degree from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, earned between 2000 and 2006.
