Kanika Singhal has extensive experience in software engineering and cybersecurity, currently serving as a Software Engineering Lead at Nutanix since February 2023, where the focus is on the design and development of Flow Network Security with micro-segmentation. Prior to this role, Kanika worked at VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff from January 2021 to February 2023, contributing to the development of next-generation firewall and dataplane features for SASE and SDWAN. From October 2010 to December 2020, Kanika served as a Sr. Software Development Engineer at McAfee, specializing in the design of IPS/IDS functionality for VMware ESX/NSX, AWS, and Azure, and earlier in a software engineering capacity, actively participating in core feature development including deep packet inspection and malware detection. Kanika holds a B. Tech in Computer Engineering from the College of Technology GBPUAT Pantnagar and completed 12th grade in Science from St. Mary's Ser Sec School, Haridwar.
