Malcolm Crossley is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in hypervisor development and engineering. Currently serving as Technical Director at Nutanix since April 2016, Crossley leads the multi-geo team focused on the Nutanix AHV hypervisor, overseeing architecture and development of KVM Hypervisor, Linux kernel, QEMU emulator, and CentOS user space components. Prior roles include significant contributions at Citrix, where Crossley specialized in network device drivers and hypervisor GPU technologies for the Xen hypervisor. Earlier experience includes leading software engineering efforts at GE Intelligent Platforms and GE Fanuc, with a solid foundation in Linux board support software for Single Board Computers. Malcolm Crossley holds a 1st MEng degree in Electronic and Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh.
