David Akopian

David Akopian, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Nutcracker Therapeutics since November 2022. Previously, David held positions at the University of California, Berkeley, as an Assistant Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher from August 2014 to July 2022. Prior to that, David was a Graduate Research Assistant at the California Institute of Technology from October 2008 to May 2014 and worked as a Research Associate and part-time Instructor at California State University, Northridge from March 2004 to July 2008. David earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Caltech between 2008 and 2014, a Master of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from California State University, Northridge from 2004 to 2007, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biochemistry from UCLA from 2000 to 2003.
