Suhua Deng

NGS Core Facility, Director at Nutcracker Therapeutics

Suhua Deng has extensive work experience in the field of genomics and sequencing. suhua currently serves as the NGS Core Facility Director at Nutcracker Therapeutics, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the NGS Sequencing Platform R&D Lead at CareDx, Inc. from April 2021 to February 2022.

From August 2016 to April 2021, Suhua worked at a Stealth Startup as the Principal Scientist (director equivalent) in Nanopore Sequencing. Before that, they were an NGS R&D Scientist at Centrillion Biosciences, Inc. from January 2014 to August 2016.

Suhua's earlier experience includes working as a Scientific Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine from July 2013 to June 2015, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University Medical Center from February 2008 to June 2013.

suhua completed their Graduate research (PhD program) at the University of Heidelberg from March 2003 to December 2007. Prior to that, Suhua worked as a Research Scientist at the Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences from November 2002 to March 2003 and as a Scientist at BGI Genomics from July 2001 to December 2002.

From 2003 to 2007, Suhua Deng pursued a Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Neuroscience at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg/University of Heidelberg, Germany.
