Corby Goodman

Vice President Engineering at NuTech

Corby Goodman has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Corby began their career at Halliburton in 1996, where they served as a Well Site Engineer and Technical Professional. During their time at Halliburton, they championed the development of after closure pressure analysis and provided technical support to the sales team. Corby also researched and presented new technologies to enhance well performance.

In 2005, Corby joined NuTech Energy Alliance as a Senior Completion Engineer. Corby'sresponsibilities included providing customers with optimized fracturing solutions, conducting sensitivity analysis, and building fracturing and production models. Corby remained with NuTech Energy Alliance until 2011.

From 2009 to 2009, Corby worked as an Engineering Manager at Tritech Energy Capital. Corby managed the engineering efforts to prove the viability of an emerging unconventional field and worked with partner companies to evaluate the risk and potential performance of wells.

Corby then joined Chevron in 2011 as a Completion Engineer. Corby supported fracturing operations remotely and on-site and led research and development projects on completion techniques.

In 2016, Corby joined NUTECH as the Vice President of NUSTIM. Corby leads a technical team that provides customized completion recommendations and assists business development staff in engaging clients. Corby also identifies and implements new technologies to increase efficiency.

Currently, Corby serves as the Vice President of Engineering at NUTECH. In this role, they present the engineering team's capabilities and project results to industry professionals, leads technical teams, and identifies and implements new technologies to support internal and external processes.

Corby Goodman holds an MBA in Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Innovation & Digital Transformation from ThePower Business School, which they attended from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1989 to 1995. Additionally, Corby has obtained certification from ThePower Business School in August 2022.
