Mark Viejou

Mark Viejou has extensive experience in procurement and sourcing within the materials industry. Currently serving as the Global Purchaser for Minerals and Trace Elements at Royal De Heus since October 2020, Mark previously held the position of Raw Materials Sourcing Manager at Cabot Corporation from March 2017 to October 2020. Mark's career began as an International Trade Representative at Koninklijke Houthandel G. Wijma & Zonen B.V. from May 2007 to February 2017, following a role as Sourcing and Product Manager at APP Timber for a brief period in 2006. Earlier experiences include internships and a final thesis project in logistics, which provided a solid foundation in the industry. Mark earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Timber Trade from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and furthered education with studies at SLU and HAN University of Applied Sciences.
