Neil Ridley

Neil Ridley is currently the Operations Director at Nutmeg. Neil has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including trading, sales, and operations.

Neil started their career in 1999 as a Sales Trader/Operations at Bank Insinger de Beaufort N.V. In 2005, they became the Head of Trading at Hobart Capital Markets LLP, where they remained until 2011. Neil then worked as the European Sales Trader - Vice Principal at Religare Capital Markets from July 2011 to March 2012. From April 2012 to July 2013, they were the Head of Trading & Operations at VSA Capital.

In their current role as Operations Director at Nutmeg, Neil is responsible for managing all middle/back office functions to ensure timely confirmations and resolving trade breaks by T+1. Neil also monitors and reports transaction reports for P&L and efficiency analysis to the Nutmeg board. Additionally, Neil manages relationships with suppliers and initiates reviews to ensure high service levels.

Neil Ridley studied at Havering Sixth Form College where they achieved A-Levels in Mathematics, Economics and Accounting. Neil then went on to study for an HND in Business and Finance at the European Vocational College. After this, they became a Securities Representative with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) and then progressed to become a Futures & Options Representative. Neil is currently studying for their Operational Level qualification with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Neil Ridley works with Matt Gatrell - Chief Operating Officer, Brad Holland - Director of investment strategy, and James McManus - Chief Investment Officer. Neil Ridley reports to Neil Alexander, CEO.
