Berend Hut currently holds the position of Global HSE Director a.i. at Nutreco since August 2024. Previously, Berend Hut served as Supply Chain and Operations Director for Benelux, Scandinavia, and France at Trouw Nutrition from January 2020 to August 2024. Prior experience includes roles at A.P. Moller - Maersk, including Head of Supply Chain Management & 4PL Customer Service for Benelux and COO for Benelux & Switzerland from October 2017 to August 2019. Berend Hut's extensive background at HEINEKEN Global Supply Chain from August 2001 to September 2017 encompassed various managerial roles, including Global Program Manager and Regional Operational Excellence Manager for Central & Eastern Europe. Berend Hut began professional career at SP Brewery Ltd as Training & Development Manager & Group Quality Manager from April 1999 to August 2001 and at Heineken Netherlands as Production Team Leader from February 1996 to March 1999. Academic qualifications include an MTD in Process and Product Design from Eindhoven University of Technology and an MSC in Food Science and Technology from Wageningen University & Research, along with a program completed at INSEAD in 2007.
