Luisa Tinapay, DNP, PMHNP-BC, currently serves as a Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, responding to medical emergencies involving neurological deficits. With extensive experience in emergency and critical care nursing, Luisa has worked in various capacities including Registered Nurse in Emergency Departments and Infusion Nurse at NutriDrip. Luisa has also completed multiple PMHNP internships focusing on children and adolescent psychiatry, school-based behavioral health, and emergency psychiatry. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Rutgers University and currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Rutgers University - Newark. Luisa's diverse clinical background includes experience in wellness nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic and a solid foundation in patient care from roles in medical-surgical, trauma, and mental health settings.
