Bill Cooper

Bill Cooper serves as the Senior Director of Strategic External Affairs at Nutrien, leading initiatives in Indigenous and Community Relations, as well as overseeing various strategic external affairs projects. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Sustainability Governance & Stakeholder Relations, where Bill led the Indigenous Relations team and guided ESG research, governance, and issue management across multiple jurisdictions. Previous positions at PotashCorp and the Government of Saskatchewan provided a strong foundation in public affairs, corporate communications, and strategic communications planning. Bill holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Regina, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Regina, and has completed executive education programs at The Wharton School, Stanford University, and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
