Scott Thomson, P.Eng, currently serves as the Director of Distribution & Truck at Nutrien, overseeing distribution and delivered truck activities for North American Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potash businesses since April 2021. Previously, Scott held roles at Nutrien including Sr. Manager of TDL Strategic Initiatives and Capital and Sr. Manager of Rail Rates, where responsibilities included managing rail operations and product delivery across North American railways. Prior to that, Scott worked at Agrium as Lease Fleet Supervisor and Project Engineer, managing a significant railcar fleet and providing engineering support for Canadian terminals. Earlier experience includes positions at the City of Ottawa, where Scott focused on project management for various construction projects and provided technical assistance. Scott holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University.
