Kari Elassal

Kari Elassal is an experienced finance executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Nutrient since August 2025. Previously, Kari held the same title at Service Management Group, where notable achievements included redesigning cash management processes and identifying $3M in annual savings. Prior roles include Vice President of Strategic Planning and Analytics at EverCommerce, where management of analytics expanded to 12 FTEs, and leadership in a $325M IPO. As Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Apeel Sciences, oversight of budgeting and strategic planning for a $1bn+ start-up was conducted. Kari's extensive career also includes positions at PaySimple, The D. E. Shaw Group, and Atlantic Media, along with membership on the Advisory Board for the Women in Leadership Program at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Educational credentials include an MS in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
