Shelby Raye, CPA

Shelby Raye, CPA has held a variety of accounting roles since 2012. Shelby began their career at Lockheed Martin as a Finance Estimator, where they priced firm-fixed price proposals for the U.S. Department of Defense, collaborated with Procurement, Engineering, and Product Support to develop reliable cost estimates, and submitted and presented proposals on time with adequate backup and rationale. Shelby also developed and oversaw training for one intern. In 2013, they took on the role of Accountant at the UCF College of Nursing. In 2014, they became a Tax and Audit Intern at Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC, and in 2015, they were promoted to Staff Accountant. In 2017, they began working at Pope, Smith, Brown & King, PA as an Audit and Tax Accountant. In 2018, they moved to Twilio Inc. as a Revenue Accountant, and in 2019, they were promoted to Accounting Manager and then Senior Accountant at Nutrislice, Inc.

Shelby Raye, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida in 2014. Shelby then went on to pursue a Master of Accountancy in Taxation from the University of South Florida, which they completed in 2015. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
