Shaylyn Gaffney

Shaylyn Gaffney is a seasoned policy and advocacy professional with extensive experience in global health and humanitarian efforts. Currently serving as a Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer at Nutrition International since March 2022, Shaylyn previously held roles including Advocacy and Humanitarian Affairs Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). With a background in policy analysis at Global Affairs Canada, including positions in the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Division and Global Health Division, Shaylyn also contributed as a Junior Evaluation Officer and an intern at the Canadian Public Health Association. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Carleton University and an Honours Specialization in French Linguistics from Western University.
