Dale Wahlstrom has a long and varied career in the life sciences and medical device industries. Dale began their career in 1978 as an Engineering Manager at Litton Microwave and then moved to Medtronic in 1982, where they held various positions including V.P. Venture Programs, V.P./G.M. Therapy Delivery Systems, Director Lead Products, Director European Engineering and Engineering Services, and Director Of Operations. In 2006, Wahlstrom co-founded and served as CEO of The BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, and in 2009 they co-founded the Minnesota Angel Network. In 2010, they became President and CEO of LifeScience Alley and in 2011 they became a Director and Investor at Ativa Medical and Co-Founder and Founding Executive Director of the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC). In 2015, they became a Director at NUUBO and in 2016 they co-founded and became CEO and Director of Pelvital USA. In 2010, they also founded Act 3, LLC Life Science Consulting, where they currently serve as CEO, Advisor, and Board Member.

Dale Wahlstrom's education history includes a Masters in Science in Systems Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, which they completed between 1986 and 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Engineering and Technology from St. Cloud State University between 1976 and 1978. Before that, they attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1969 to 1971, studying Pre-Forestry.
