James Shannon

James Shannon is an experienced quality assurance professional in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Manager of GMP QA at Nuvalent, Inc. since April 2024, Shannon previously held the role of Manager of QA CMC at Karuna Therapeutics from August 2023 to April 2024. Earlier experience at Alkermes spanned from April 2016 to August 2023, where Shannon progressed through various roles including Quality Specialist and multiple Senior QA Associate positions, alongside a background in analytical development as a Research Associate. Prior to Alkermes, Shannon worked as a Research Associate in Analytical Development at BIND Therapeutics. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Keene State College, earned in 2015.
