Alex Mosteanu

Alex Mosteanu, MD, FACP has extensive experience in the medical field. Alex is currently working as the Regional Director Primary Care for Nuvance Health East since October 2021. Previously, they served as the Medical Director for Nuvance Health Medical Group- Ridgefield Primary Care from July 2016 to December 2021. Alongside their role as the Medical Director, they also worked as a busy Internal Medicine (IM) physician and educator for internal medicine residents from Yale University- Danbury Hospital and students from the University of Vermont - School of Medicine.

Before joining Nuvance Health, Dr. Mosteanu worked as a Primary Care Physician/Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine from July 2014 to June 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Primary Care Physician at Western Connecticut Medical Group from July 2012 to June 2014. Alex began their career at Danbury Hospital, where they worked as the Chief Resident from July 2011 to June 2012.
