Beth Tetro

Beth Tetro, JD, MJ-LEL, has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Beth is currently working as the Director of HR Compliance and Governance at Nuvance Health. Prior to this, they served as a Project Manager at Banfield Pet Hospital from 2017 to 2022, where they were responsible for managing HR-related projects, implementing training programs, and creating resource guides for field leadership.

Before joining Banfield Pet Hospital, Beth worked as a Staff Counsel at GEICO from 2011 to 2017. In this role, they defended bodily injury litigation in New York State and federal courts. Beth also completed seven jury trials, achieving two defense verdicts and presenting oral arguments at the Appellate Division, Second Department of New York State.

Beth also gained experience as an Associate at Wilson Elser in 2016, representing medical and allied health professionals and healthcare facilities in various cases. Beth specialized in litigating claims and negotiating settlements involving obstetrics, orthopedics, oncology, anesthesia, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, and surgery.

Beth then pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010. Recently, they furthered their studies at Tulane University Law School, where they earned a Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) degree in Labor & Employment Law from 2019 to 2021.
