Carolyn Smith

Carolyn Smith, RT(R)(M)(CT)(MR), is a seasoned professional in medical imaging with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Manager of Operations - Medical Imaging at Nuvance Health since March 2019, Carolyn is responsible for the department's daily operations, including staffing, recruitment, payroll, and strategic planning in collaboration with the Director of Radiology. Previously, as an Adjunct Instructor at Hudson Valley Community College, Carolyn mentored radiologic technology students and provided comprehensive training. Prior roles include Lead MRI/CT Technologist and Director of Radiology at Columbia Memorial Health and Sharon Hospital, respectively, where Carolyn managed operations, developed policies, and ensured regulatory compliance. Carolyn holds a degree in Radiologic Technology from Albany Medical School of Radiologic Technology.
