Muiz Sohani

Muiz Sohani is a Systems Designer at Nuvation Energy since May 2023, previously serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at PhotoMedicine Labs. Sohani's experience includes roles as a Hardware Engineer at Nuvation Engineering, where PCB testing and new power circuit design were key responsibilities, and as a Hardware Design Engineer at Swift Medical, focusing on multilayer PCB design and component redesign for improved manufacturability. As a Product Manager at Year Zero Studios, project management of a mental health web application was executed, leading to significant user onboarding and engagement. Additional experience includes developing web applications at Ontario Digital Service, medical device testing at Focal Healthcare, and contributions to the UW BioMechatronics Club. Muiz Sohani earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and was recognized as an Ontario Scholar and Valedictorian at North Park Secondary School.
