Chris Pendergrast

Chris Pendergrast is a seasoned HR executive with extensive experience in talent management and organizational effectiveness. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director, HR Business Partner at Nuveen since October 2015, Chris leads human resources for thirteen global affiliates managing approximately $900 billion in assets across multiple countries. Chris also holds a dual role as Global Head of Diversity & Talent Management at Nuveen. Previous positions include Head of Organization Effectiveness at TIAA-CREF, VP of Learning, Talent Management, and Change Management at Belk, and SVP of Executive Talent Management at Bank of America. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Psychology from William & Mary.
