Dustin Benson

Dustin Benson currently serves as the Senior International Fixed Income Trader at Nuveen, a TIAA company, where responsibilities include establishing and managing regulatory requirements for the first non-US fixed income trading desk. Previously, Dustin held roles as a Senior Emerging Markets Fixed Income Trader and Vice President, Assistant Portfolio Manager, and Senior Research Analyst, focusing on global total return fixed income portfolios and managing a team responsible for $15 billion in assets. Prior experience includes serving as a Portfolio Manager at Black River Asset Management, where Dustin helped grow the Emerging Markets Debt fund from $100 million to $520 million, and as an Analyst, tracking currency forwards and managing fixed-income books. Early career experience includes working as a Production Engineer at Archer Daniels Midland Company, contributing to the construction of a maltodextrin plant. Dustin Benson holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance from the UMN Carlson School of Management.
