Erik Halvorsen

Erik Halvorsen, Jr. is a finance professional with extensive experience in real estate investments. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in Retail Investments at Nuveen since January 2018, Erik leads acquisitions and dispositions for retail and mixed-use properties across the Western U.S. Previously, Erik worked as an Analyst at Calmwater Capital, focusing on underwriting and originations for commercial real estate debt opportunities, and as a Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo, specializing in commercial real estate debt underwriting for institutional clients. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA, where studies were completed from 2011 to 2015.
