James Colon

James Colon is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Managing Director and Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager at Nuveen since January 2020. Prior to this role, James held various leadership positions at Nuveen Solutions, Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, and Nuveen HydePark Group, including Managing Director, Head of Quantitative Research, and Senior Vice President overseeing Managed Volatility Strategies. With a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and portfolio management, James has been instrumental in driving investment strategies throughout a career that began at CSSC Investment Advisory. Academically, James holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from Michigan State University, and has pursued further education at Harvard Extension School and DePaul University.
