Jay McKinnon

Jay McKinnon, CPA, currently serves as the Vice President and Corporate Accounting Director at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since October 2019, after holding the position of AVP and Senior Manager in Corporate Accounting. Prior to this role, McKinnon worked at Brighthouse Financial from March 2016 to October 2019 as an Accounting Manager and Financial Consultant. Experience also includes a tenure at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP as a Manager and Senior Associate from July 2011 to March 2016, and starting as a Staff Accountant at United Guaranty Corporation from December 2007 to July 2011. McKinnon earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Risk & Insurance from Appalachian State University between 2003 and 2005.
