Makarand Bhor

Makarand Bhor is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in financial and investment technology. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Trading Technology at Nuveen, Makarand oversees the maintenance and transformation of Fixed Income Front Office Technology supporting various trading and middle office functions. Prior roles include Senior Director of Technology at Midwest Holding Inc., where Makarand led the development of a technology platform for investment operations, and Executive Director at Nomura, managing global technology strategies for markets research and fixed income. Makarand’s career also includes significant positions at Lehman Brothers, I2 Technologies, and Oracle Financial Services, showcasing expertise in trading systems, technology infrastructure, and team leadership. Makarand holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
