Oscar Thoeger Maltesen

Oscar Thoeger Maltesen serves as the Senior Director and Head of Nordic Investments in Real Estate at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since March 2020, overseeing the Nordic real estate business. Prior to this role, Oscar held several positions at Nuveen, including Director of Alternatives and Strategic Transactions and Investment Manager for Nordic real estate. Oscar's previous experience includes working as an Associate and Analyst at Niam AB, focusing on acquisitions in Denmark and Norway, as well as a Student Associate at Copenhagen Airports A/S, where responsibilities included investment strategies and infrastructure. Additionally, Oscar gained research and investment underwriting experience as an Analyst at Urban Jungle AS and contributed to HA Invest as Head of Communication and Board Member. Oscar holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
