Stephen M. Liberatore, CFA, has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as a Board Member for the Fixed Income Analyst Society, Inc. and as a Steering Committee Member for both the Debt Conversion for Nature and Climate Practice Standards and the Orange Bond Initiative. Since December 2021, Stephen has been a member of the Green Renal Housing Task Force at Fannie Mae and is actively involved with the United Nations Capital Development Fund as a member of the Climate Insurance Linked Resilient Infrastructure Finance group. As Head of ESG/Impact for Global Fixed Income at Nuveen since 2004, Stephen has been instrumental in promoting sustainable finance. Additional roles include serving on advisory boards and committees related to green bond principles and sustainable investment initiatives, showcasing a strong commitment to integrating environmental, social, and governance factors into financial practices. Stephen holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Operations from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo.
