Cassidy Kuiper

Cassidy Kuiper is an experienced Operations and ESG Manager at nuventura since September 2023, with a strong background in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Prior to this role, Cassidy served as Principal ESG Specialist at Andrada Mining from February 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included developing and executing the Group's ESG Strategy, managing ESG-related projects, and co-authoring annual Sustainability Reports. Cassidy also established and managed the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department at Andrada's flagship tin mine in Namibia. Earlier experience includes a position as Graduate Environmental Scientist at Bushveld Minerals, focusing on various mining and exploration projects. Cassidy holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science, along with additional qualifications in Mining and the Environment and Medical Cell Biology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
