Megan Sochinski

Application Development Team Lead at NuVerge

Megan Sochinski began their career in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative for the Office of Financial Aid at the University of Colorado Boulder. Here they answered questions about financial aid over the phone and in person, worked with both students and parents to come up with financial aid solutions, and verified and filed incoming documents and forms. In 2018, they began working as a Personal Tutor for Tutor Doctor Boulder, working with 8-10 students per week and specializing in mathematics, chemistry, physics, French, organization, and test taking skills. In 2019, they began working as a Business Analyst/Application Developer for GCS, working with Nextworld in Denver, CO to help test and improve premium ERP software, creating applications in a no-code environment, and working collaboratively to improve the supply management solutions provided by Nextworld. Megan also worked as a Consulting Student for Hunter Douglas, Inc., working in a class to produce models for Hunter Douglas to predict manufacturing errors and clustering distributors, learning as much as possible about modeling techniques, and leading their group in producing a preliminary model that converted categorical variables to numerical values. In 2021, they began working as an Application Development Team Lead for NuVerge, LLC, continuing to work within the Nextworld partner space and stepping into a leadership role. Megan is the technical lead for the education and donor management suite development team.

Megan Sochinski obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in French and Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2015 and 2018. Megan then attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, earning a degree in Business Analytics with a focus in Decision Science between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, they hold an IBM Big SQL V5.0.x certification from IBM.
