Michael Zittermann has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of nuvo, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as CEO of ComDocks from March 2020 to December 2021, where they successfully scaled the marketplace and expanded services. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Michael worked as a Business Development Manager at Martide from September 2018 to February 2020. Michael also gained valuable experience at Hapag-Lloyd AG, where they served as a Dual Student from August 2015 to September 2018, and as a Summer Intern in Shanghai from August 2017 to October 2017.
Michael Zittermann completed their education as follows:
From 2015 to 2018, they attended HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration and earned a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Management.
In the same period, from 2015 to 2017, they also studied at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, where they obtained a degree as a Shipping Merchant (Liner Shipping) or "Ausbildung zum Schifffahrtskaufmann."
Earlier, from 2007 to 2014, they attended Sankt-Ansgar-Schule and achieved their Abitur, which is the German secondary school leaving certificate.
Additionally, Michael Zittermann holds certifications, including an "Internal Auditor ISM-ISPS-MLC for Shipping Companies" from DNV GL, obtained in December 2019, and a "London Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Qualifications Certificate" obtained in July 2016 from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
