Brett Ohland has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to iOS development, web development, and management.

brett most recently worked at NuvoAir as an iOS Tech Lead since 2022. Prior to that, they owned and managed their own small business at Ampersand Softworks Ltd. starting in 2020.

From 2020 to 2022, Brett worked at Shift as an iOS Engineer.

brett also had notable experience at Mobiquity, Inc. where they served as the Principal iOS Developer, iOS Platform Lead, iOS Team Lead, and Career Manager from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining iOS coding standards and guidelines, researching new Apple technologies, and driving discussions on architecture and best practices for iOS projects.

Prior to that, Brett worked at DevFacto Technologies Inc. as a Consultant - Senior Mobile Developer from 2012 to 2014. brett developed HazPad and internal prototypes for customers and clients and set iOS coding standards.

brett worked as a freelancer from 2011 to 2012, where they developed iOS mobile applications and a personal double exposure application (DblDbl). brett also worked as a web developer during that time, developing front-end layers for various sites.

Brett's earlier experience includes working at Corbis and Veer as a Senior Front-end web developer from 2009 to 2011, where they extensively used HTML, CSS, JS, and Flash (AS3) and created HTML email templates. Before that, they worked as a Mid-Level Front-end web developer at Karo Group, Inc. from 2007 to 2009, where they built projects for high-profile clients and developed rich media experiences using Flash, Final Cut Studio, and Quicktime. brett also led the internal HTML standards and accessibility group and developed an internal microsite framework.

Additionally, Brett started their career as a Junior Front-end web developer at Adwise Communications in 2006, where they created HTML and CSS templates for PHP CMS systems and developed dynamic, database-driven Flash components.
