Samuel Fernández León has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Technical Manager at Indra Espacio S.A., where they managed teams, handled customer relationships, and supervised subcontractors. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Co-owner, designer, and developer of the e-commerce platform Homoibericus. In 2015, they joined FICOSA as an Engineering Supervisor, responsible for a team of engineers and supporting recruitment activities. In 2018, they became the R&D System Test Manager at FICOSA, overseeing a larger team of engineers and taking on additional responsibilities such as mentoring, career management, and professional development. Currently, they are working at Nuvolar Works, first as an Engineering Manager from 2020 to 2024, and then as the COO from 2024 onwards.
Samuel Fernández León completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Cantabria in the period from 2000 to 2007. Samuel then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Technical Engineering in Computer Systems from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya between 2008 and 2011.
