Jean-Marie Danielou

Jean-Marie Danielou has extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as Senior Delivery Manager for CI/BOP SMR at NUWARD since June 2023. Prior to this role, Danielou worked at EDF from May 2009 to June 2023, where positions included CI/BOP Project Manager for SMR Nuward, Turbine Hall Architect for EPR2, Offer Manager for overseas NPP, and Heat Sink Project Responsible for EPR UK. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Manager for Fluid and Electrical Systems at Sofinel from May 2007 to May 2009, various engineering roles at EDF from October 1999 to May 2007, and as a Military Teacher in Electronics in the Marine Nationale from August 1998 to August 1999. Danielou holds an Ingenieur degree in Electronics, Signal Processing, and High Frequencies from ENSEEIHT, earned between 1995 and 1998.

NUWARD

The NUWARD SMR is targeting to replace old high CO2-emitting coal, fuel, oil and gas plants around the world as well as offering the capability of supporting other usages such as hydrogen production, urban and district heating or desalination. Based on proven PWR technology, it is a 340MWe plant with two reactors of 170MWe each. Led by the NUWARD company, the project relies on the skilled and valued contributions of EDF, CEA, Naval Group, TechnicAtome, Framatome and Tractebel.
