Jordi Simó Climent has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2012, they worked as a Mechanical Assistant at Toyota Team's Motor, where they assisted mechanics with tasks such as disassembling motors and checking CPU irregularities. In 2015, they served as a Project Designer at Bianna Recycling, now known as Masias Recycling, where they wrote Technical Sheets on recycling machines and worked on designing recycling plants.
In 2017, Jordi worked as an R&D Space Engineer at GTD, participating in the ALTAIR project focused on launching microsatellites into Low Earth Orbits. Their role specifically involved working on the Guidance, Navigation, and Control system.
From 2018 to 2019, Jordi worked as a Scholar at COIAE/AIAE - Colegio Oficial y Asociación de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos de España, organizing events, preparing presentations, and sending informational emails to association members.
In 2020, Jordi interned at Airbus, working on Digital Marketing Strategy for Manage Flight Operations. During their internship, they proposed a "talks" program, developed an interdepartmental website, and created tools to improve overall performance. Jordi also participated in a Start-Up Program at Demium Startups.
Currently, Jordi is a Co-Founder at NUWE, a role they have held since 2021. In their time at NUWE, they have served as the COO and Co-Founder, overseeing funding, finance, and operations. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Growth Officer from 2021 to 2022.
